Mountains are one of my passions, and something I do obsess about, a bit (my kids will say much more than a bit, though, and I guess they will be right). I may, since I'm an Aspie.
I came upon a clip on YouTube last night, about this man who reached the summit of Everest on the 25th of May, 2001.
Erik Weihenmayer is blind.
Of course I had to go and Google him, as I was captivated by his story. This link tells a bit more about him and his life, and what he has accomplished so far:
