They are the reason why I never go on vacation:
Lisa, who suffers from thrombocytopenia, which means she's a bleeder. Stress is a huge factor and she doesn't do well in kennels:
Douwtjie, who also hates kennels. He had to spend a night in one at the SPCA, and contracted kennel cough:
And my little Pixie, who loves people so much, she barks and barks and jumps and jumps when we have people visiting, and of course she gets scolded for it (not by me, though, I totally understand her excitement):
I don't mind staying at home for their sake. It is worth it.
