It took seven years for my waxplant to bloom. They give off sweet smelling sticky "tears" which attract all sorts of insects, although I've never seen bees on it. As you can see, mine is quite hairy. I'm not good at gardening, but have a few pot plants that seem to survive my not so green thumbs. Fortunately this lovely hoya is one of them.
