We plucked 3 of our pineapples this morning, and had one for breakfast. It was as sweet as I expected it to be. It didn't hurt my mouth one bit, which makes we wonder if they develop more of the enzyme bromelain while in storage. I don't really know, but will try and delve deeper into it. I like to research stuff.
For today's challenge I'm uploading a photo of one of the pineapples I took this morning, together with some lemons from our lemon tree. The pineapple looks a bit on the green side, but the stem was bending right over, so my friend thought that it a was good idea to pluck it too.

Enjoy your day, and take care.
Ps: we ate the green pineapple tonight, and it was the sweetest one I've ever tasted. Goes to show, you can't go by looks. I was sure it was still green, my friend was sure it was ripe, and as hard as it is for me to admit this, my friend was right. And for once, I was glad that I was wrong. :)
