For today's challenge, I submit a photo I took of the flower of our "pineapple guava" tree, or Feijoa sellowiana.
It is a very attractive tree, and the fruit is edible and apparently tastes like something between a pineapple and a guava. We can't eat the fruit, though, as they get stung by fruit flies even before they are ripe and ready.
We don't mind, as all the fruit and berries in our garden are there for the joy and benefit of the birds and insects.

Enjoy your day today.
