Dauntless es un videojuego online gratuito y de roles muy similar a Monster Hunter desarrollado por epic games, se lanzo originalmente en una beta el 2018 y al principio fue muy promocionado pero, que paso con Dauntless?
Dauntless comenzo muy fuerte en el mundo de los videojuegos recaudando en su primera semana 5 millones de jugadores, algo muy impresionante ya que brindaba la oportunidad de jugar en un mundo muy parecido a Monster hunter, pero con el paso del tiempo se fue olvidando por los jugadores, el juego no esta abandonado ni nada por el estilo, simplemente no fue promocionado por los youtubers ni otras plataformas después de su éxito, sin embargo analicemos el por que ha sido olvidado, para analizarlo tendremos en cuenta lo siguiente: La jugabilidad, el apartado grafico y los pros y contras, empecemos:
Al comenzar a jugar Dauntless lo primero que notas es que el mundo donde estas es algo cerrado y es sencillo confundirte pues el juego no es mundo abierto y donde te encuentras es un lobby, asi que algunos jugadores pueden confundirse, lo otro que notamos es su similitud con moster hunter, ya que tienes que cazar dinosaurios y otras criaturas, el juego se basa en hacer mazmorras y misiones , es divertido al inicio ya que tienes muchas cosas por hacer, tienes cosas que recolectar y monstruos que cazar, su apartado gráfico es similar al fornite, eso lo notaras enseguida, a muchos le molesta eso, la verdad a mi no me interesa, lo importante del juego es entretener al jugador, y cumple con esa función a la perfección, el mundo como tal es muy bonito, con una característica simplista pero no deja de ser bonito.
Ahora hablemos de la jugabilidad,: El juego como tal no tiene sistemas de habilidades, se basa en un sistemas de combos, y cada combo depende de el arma que lleves, hay armas pesadas y lentas pero con mucho daño como lo son las hachas y los martillos, y hay armas mas ligeras para golpear mas rápido. Lo mas interesante es que aqui no puedes comprar armaduras, aquí las creas tu mismo, lo que fomenta a la exploración del entorno en el que te encuentras al hacer una misión (en ese punto es completamente igual al MH) sin embargo es divertido jugar y explorar, ademas al entrar tienen un flow violento y genial entrando como si fueras el amo del lugar.
Otra cosa que tiene el juego es que tiene Crossplay, (¿que es eso?) pues bueno mi querido amigo es la posibilidad de jugar con personas que tienen otra consola, como puede ser la play 4, nintendo swich o pc, elemental mi querido Wattson. Ahora vamos con los pros y los contras:
PROS:
-Puedes jugar con tus amigos desde otras plataformas.
-Es gratis
-Tiene una gran variedad de armaduras y armas
-El apartado grafico es muy bonito y fluido
-Siguen sacando actualizaciones ya que el juego no esta abandonado.
-Tendras muchas horas de juego.
- Es divertido.
CONTRAS:
-Es Igual a MH asi que de original no tiene mucho
- tardaras un poco a la hora de emparejarte con otros grupos de personas al ir a una dungeon
-El juego con el tiempo se vuelve lineal, y aveces te puedes aburrir de solo estar matando dinosaurios.
En conclusión: El juego no esta abandonado, te dará muchas horas de entretenimiento y mas, es divertido y aunque el juego se vuelve lineal si no le prestas atención a eso tendrás diversión garantizada, el juego se mantiene actualizado, lo unico que tiene es que no ha sido promocionado de nuevo, pero sigue siendo una excelente opcion para jugar, si no tienes dinero o simplemente no quieres pagar para jugar Monster hunter world este es tu juego.

When you start playing Dauntless the first thing you notice is that the world where you are is somewhat closed and it is easy to get confused because the game is not open world and where you are is a lobby, so some players can get confused, the other thing we notice is their similarity with moster hunter, since you have to hunt dinosaurs and other creatures, the game is based on doing dungeons and missions, it is fun at the beginning since you have many things to do, you have things to collect and monsters to hunt, its graphic section is similar to fornite, you will notice that right away, many are bothered by that, the truth is that I am not interested, the important thing about the game is to entertain the player, and it fulfills that function perfectly, the world as such is very beautiful, with a simplistic feature but still pretty.
Now let's talk about the gameplay: The game as such does not have skill systems, it is based on a combos system, and each combo depends on the weapon you carry, there are heavy and slow weapons but with a lot of damage such as axes and the hammers, and there are lighter weapons to hit faster. The most interesting thing is that here you cannot buy armor, here you create it yourself, which encourages the exploration of the environment in which you find yourself when doing a mission (at that point it is completely the same as the MH) however it is fun to play and explore, also when entering they have a violent and great flow entering as if you were the master of the place.
