This life is full of many mysteries. We try to unravel some but we are limited by our knowledge.

Whatever we can comprehend or think about, is a limit on its own. If we think beyond that limit, we will reach another limit. Truth is, only the Supreme is unlimited.

This limitation sometimes make one wonder on what we would have done differently had things not been how they are.

We visualise and conceptualise many 'if' scenarios and situations. We thought of it that things would have been this or that if only if. But we know life is beyond these 'ifs'.

It's possible to think of you being more brilliant than you are today 'if' you were born by professors.

While you are at it, those born by professors would be contemplating on how they would have been lawyers and not lecturers 'if' they were born by Senior Advocates.

Similarly, a beggar would consider that his life would have been better 'if' he was born by different parents and in different circumstance .

He considers to be superb and awesome, the lives of those born by a well to do parents. Since he sees how their parents care for them and take them to and fro in cars.

Unsurprisingly, these set of people also have their 'ifs'. They look at those in the upper class and envy them. They consider how different and awesome their lives would be 'if' they had been born by these elites.

Don't be surprised that someone born with silver spoon sometimes envy those living a life with no worries. Within them, they conceptualise and visualise on what life would be 'if' they were born by those in the middle class.

Some of us just enter any joint or buka (canteen) to buy and eat any food we like with our own freewill and anytime.

For them, they live from car to house. Most of their food are cooked at home. They attend expensive schools and were only allowed to eat what they took to school from home.

Their circle of friends are limited and monitored. They wished they could have it differently 'if' they had the chance and choice to choose.

These 'ifs' are joy and happiness killers. They set in to give you pictures of better and amazing world which is different from your current one.

They steal your joy from you by making you think life would be different 'if' things were different.

Truly, it is not that simple. As you are contemplating on those 'ifs, the person you wished you had his/her 'if' is contemplating on others 'ifs' which shows we are never going to be contented.

It is greed and life snatcher. The earlier you kill it the better. You need to face these 'ifs' and tell them life wont be different and that you are ready to change this destiny of yours to a better reality instead of impossible 'ifs' that no one can control.

Let go of any 'if' that might be dragging you back and taking you to the utopian world. Embrace reality and make life what you want it to be.

Kill the 'ifs' of life within you.
