Salary is the reward people get for their labour. It comes with a fixed amount at the end of the month.
Some earn their salaries weekly but the normal one is earned monthly.
People in this part of the world (Nigeria) believe that one needs to leave home daily and come back at night to be considered a worker.
Whether that is a true reflection of the contemporary world with many online jobs out there is something we can argue.
We know that one of the stressful things out there is to be a salary earner. Its stress is often more than the pay.
Perhaps, this explains why people now suggest entrepreneurship as alternative to this old fashion way of earning a living.
Amazingly, these set of people are debtors. Yeah, they ask for loan from anyone at anytime.
Most salary earners are borrowers. They get loan that is almost half of their salary before the month end.
When they collect the salary, they return their loan leaving them with peanuts that could only sustain them for few weeks and they return to get more loan.
This was my reality at a point before i joined cryptospace. Those still there can explain better.
The truth is, they keep tab of date and always waiting for month end to receive new salary.
Their hope is always on the next salary. It keeps them going and they wait for it.
You might be asking, will they ever grow in life with such lifestyle? Your guess is as good as mine but what can they do to change their situations?
Many are not even ready to change their situations or turn it around.
If you yell them about platform like this tp write and earn, they will likely not take it serious.
They have this get rich quick mentality. Some of them cannot endure the mental stress to rack their brain to write or even come up with anything meaningful.
Their goal and target is always on the calendar, waiting to be paid again and again and again.
There are arguments that no one becomes rich or wealthy by earning salary!
Some have even dubbed salary to be Something Always Little And Reduces You (SALARY).
To actually become success, rich and wealthy, one needs to go beyond salary. It limits a man and confines him into a box.
I believe it is a shackle that one must strive to break. To depend on salary is to think earth is the only planet out there.
You need to expand and diversify into other things to have a chance if making it real big in life.
Stop counting numbers and looking at calendar. Start taking up opportunities and diversify. Your tomorrow depend on it.
