Juventus coach, Maurizio Sarri says his relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo is good.

Many reports that the two are having issues over a substitution Sarri made in Juve's match against AC Milan.

Ronaldo was substituted and was seen very angry that he didn't wait to see the end of the game.

Ronaldo went on to represent his country and scored hat- trick and another goal in their two EURO 2020 qualifying matches. His gaols ensured Portugal's qualification from the group.

Sarri left Ronaldo out of the squad that played Atalanta last weekend. Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala were very instrumental in that game and they gave Juve an unlikely win away at Atalanta.

In his press conference before Juve's match against Atletico Madrid in Champions League today, question of Ronaldo was raised but the coach insists both are doing fine.

Sarri says he doesn't know where the news about rift are coming from but he has a perfect relationship with Ronaldo.

Sarri says if a player gets angry over being substituted, then it is a good sign that the player is hungry for more.

He argues further that in the case of Ronaldo who has won almost all trophies, it is even more interesting and shows he is still hungry for more silverwares.

Sarri argues that such action is a great motivation and for all his career as a coach, when a player feels that way after being substituted, it doesn’t make him feel hot or cold.

Jeventus are three points ahead of Atletico Madrid and Sarri expect a tough match today against a strong team.
