As Africans, we have wonderful mothers who are amazing! They do amazing things and can be lovely and disciplined at the same time.
Sometimes, i feel our mothers are different from other mothers in other parts of the world.
An African mother might be in the sitting room and ask you that is in the bedroom to come and pick a remote control for her.
She might ask you to bring something for her and when you ask, where should i drop it, she will answer: put it on my head!
Lols! You have to know what they mean or you will receive the beating of your life in case you try placing it on her head.
They also communicate perfectly with eyes. An African mother will look at you disdainfully to simply tell you to reject an offer or lie about something.
If you do mistake and do otherwise, you are sure getting beaten that day for not reading her eyes well.
She will use this same eyes to tell you to accept an offer. In case she already told you not to collect anything from stranger, you dare not reject monetary offer in her presence without looking at her face.
These amazing mothers sure have different kind of punishments to straighten a child.
Their slaps are wonderful!!!! Lols! Wonderful because if it hits you, your brain will do auto reset and you will be normal immediately.
A mother use cane basically to beat a child but if she's angry, she will pick anything available to throw at you and then threaten you.
Once she did, just know you are in soup. If she remembers on time,then good for you. If she doesn't but remembers after you made another mistake, then expect double portion of beaten!
Every of these women are unique in themselves. They are have their peculiar traits but something connects them which is the Africanness.
They mostly do things the same way in terms of training a child. All i wrote above are things many people in Nigeria can relate with.
Just don't joke with an African mother or you will surely smell yourself in a bad way.
You might be wondering how come we still love them or they are still the best compared to fathers? It is because they do most things out of love.
Their love and affection can never be questioned. They will go extra miles to make sure we are okay.
They can do anything for us.
