I think everything boils down to mindset. The fact that people find all these get-rich-quick schemes very appealing instead of consciously investing in their future, want to look all flashy and rich, are short-sighted when it comes to what the future holds for them rather they enjoy the pleasures of the now is quite displeasing and unfortunate.
