I'd be happy with at least $100 million plus ongoing inflation, but we can't count on future price, and future market cap may be very dependent on eventually ramping up spending. Also, don't forget that right now @blocktrades is doing everything for free. That's not sustainable and their efforts aren't really that comprehensive either (no criticism of them, I don't expect any more for free).
Also, the thing about relying on inflation is that the current design makes this a pretty small amount (10% of inflation, which is declining), with most of the inflation going to the poorly-performing content reward pool instead. I'm very negative on this aspect of the design from the point of view of being able to robustly develop and sustain the platform. I would not want to do anything to reduce this meager level of support until that challenge is overcome.
