It varies and isn't fixed, I'm just saying it's not "random" in the sense of being an independent variable.
If the price goes down, the inflation goes up, and if the price goes up the inflation goes down.
If you want to consider price random, then inflation would be dependent on price (as above) and therefore also random in that sense.
The price of STEEM went down a lot. It was probably the thing it did best. Which explains the high observed inflation.
