Although Attilius was a Roman citizen, he was forced to enter the gladiator school, to save from the heavy debt of his life. His first battle was with Hilarus who had won in a thirteen battle in a row, Hilarus was the gladiator of Emperor Nero, who defeated Hilarus in the war. Attilius then went to war with Raecius Felix, who won twelve battles in a row. Raecius was defeated in the war. His heroic drama was discovered in 2007, which was described in Graffiti.
