Lost in a world of sin
Tied in the chains of transgression
Dipped in a miry clay of filth
A man came into the world
He left His throne of comfort
His glory found in the highest
His crown endowed like no other
Gave up His place
Came to a world which had lost hope
Gave up himself as a price
For the sons of men to embrace peace
To receive the gift of excellent salvation
Came as a savior to a dying world
A world that tried to fight his light
He died for us
awoke again and took his flight
back to his glory
sent down his spirit
to bring our lives to a glitter
His name is JESUS
The name recognized by every mortal
And feared by every knee.
