Get an heirloom seed vault, so it will give you seeds long term after you get into the countryside. Prepping includes stocking back what inexpensive now, but would be hard to get after things crash. Seeds will be very valuable then, and in a seed vault, they will keep long term!

The food is a bridge to the garden grown later.
