Gathering positive people, who are not lazy and have useful skills; is the core of prepping well! For a long term SHTF situation, you need a group you can count on to cover your back; because a lone preppers is a poor survivor. A dog is a good add for security, and adds little load to a preppers planning.

Be safe!
