Not bad for frozen ground! Some of the root crops are quite hardy. I enjoy rutabaga, but would pass on the beets, LOL. The chard sounds interesting, I like most of those leafy ones.

The year round will be a problem for me when I finish the greenhouses. The cold crops will do okay here in a greenhouse without heat. But I do like to eat....
