There are a lot of lakes in Oklahoma, my homestead is by Keystone lake; which has about 500,000 surface acres.

This is Keystone about aile from the house.

Oolega, Tenkiller, Grand, are about the same size, and Eufala is about double. Texoma is shared with Texas, but it is large too. There are hundreds of smaller lakes in the 1000 acre size range.

A lot of the larger lakes provide power, and feed water to the Kerr McClellan navigation channel that goes to to the sea.

This is on that channel by lock and dam 18.
