Cycling is important, but adjust powder for grouping! If you miss, the cycling is not really important....
Look into a mold for the calibre and cast it with wheel weights. The advantage of a big heavy round, is it usually travels slower; and can use lead alloy projectiles. Coat them with Alox lube and it should be good. If it pushes up in the 1650 FPS range, it may also need a gas check at the base of the bullet. But most pistol rounds don't go that fast, and still do the job! The 45 rounds I make are a little lighter, and go a little faster (1100 FPS), so the wheel weight alloy is perfect.
Just gotta find your sweet spot!π―π―π―
If you have a low recoil round, unload and check if you have a squib round stuck in the barrel! If your firearm acts different, always check!!!!
Be safe!πππ
