I saw a turret with 6 tools for a number 2 Morris, it is the same on the tailstock on my small engine lathe (9 by 20), the main one is a number three in the tailstock (13 by 36). The turret lathe is mostly tooled for a number 6 and some 4 Morris taper tooling. I plan to make some number 3 tapers to add to this tooling. It has a full set of chuck mounted collets that are old school. They aren't C5 style, but a type I've never seen before.
With a faceplate, you have more options, inรงluding wood turning. I just added another lathe, but it's already out at the homestead, and I'm not sure what size yet. Moved an R8 knee mill out there too. Both are backup, but it is two less I'll have to move later!
It is amazing what you can do with a lathe! Those bench lathes are a good tool, that will make a lot of parts.
The pew is great for gun related posts. I have learned a lot there, and have posted some stuff there myself!
