We have a lot of corn the Indian tribes used to grow, with a lot of colors; but I've never seen blue kernels before. You must be way north to need to start them inside.

I hear that aquaponics will speed the time to fruit about a third, that might help you.

Down here, I have been buying popcorn to plant and grind, because it is non GMO. Most of the corn in the USA is GMO for heavy production, for fuel.

For now, I've purchased several hundred pounds of popcorn to fill this gap at the homestead; until I can grow some, and replenish it.
