Today, I took it upon myself to create an achromatic poster in reference to the recently released movie "RESISTANCE," which delves into the war between artificial intelligence and humans. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it could be a reality in the future? Now, let's get straight to it and join me in exploring the poster creation process.

hoy me encargu茅 de crear un p贸ster acrom谩tico en referencia a la pel铆cula "RESISTENCIA", recientemente lanzada, que aborda la guerra generada entre la inteligencia artificial y los seres humanos. 驴Qu茅 opinan ustedes? 驴Ser谩 esto posible en el futuro? Ahora, yendo directo al grano, acomp谩帽enme a trav茅s del proceso de creaci贸n del p贸ster.

It was a collaborative effort with artificial intelligence, and I decided to interact with it to create this cover. I gave it an oriental style, and the prompt was "An artificial intelligence robot, at peace but prepared for war, with a Japanese style." This is how it was generated, and this was the result.

Le proporcion茅 un estilo oriental y la consigna fue "Un robot de inteligencia artificial, en paz pero preparado para la guerra, con un estilo japon茅s". As铆 es como se gener贸 y este fue el resultado.

As a first step, I duplicated the image, added motion, and noise to give it an "old" style, and I was able to achieve the desired effect. The next step was to divide sectors where references and messages would go to give the cover that cyber and controlled style.
Como primer paso, duplic茅 la imagen, a帽ad铆 movimiento y ruido para conferirle un aspecto "antiguo". Logr茅 el efecto que buscaba. El siguiente paso consisti贸 en dividir 谩reas donde ir铆an referencias y mensajes para darle a la portada ese estilo cibern茅tico y controlado.
As time went on, I added phrases and barcodes along with a digital scale design to solidify the style. During the design process, I thought about the movie and pondered whether such scenarios could become a reality someday, how artificial intelligence might replace us, or if we could instead make it a tool to continue being present in the artistic world.
A medida que avanzaba en el tiempo, incorporaba frases y c贸digos de barras acompa帽ados de un dise帽o de escala digital para afinar el estilo. A lo largo del proceso de dise帽o, reflexionaba sobre la pel铆cula y me preguntaba si alg煤n d铆a escenarios como ese podr铆an convertirse en realidad, o c贸mo la inteligencia artificial podr铆a llegar a reemplazarnos. Tambi茅n consideraba si pod铆amos convertirla en una herramienta m谩s para seguir siendo parte de este mundo art铆stico.
I had the idea to create a cut in the left section with a black rectangle, which would serve to contrast with the white and add more details to the achromatic cyber theme. As always, black and white are a very harmonious combination, as they can coexist despite being so opposite, both in terms of message and visually. A clear example has always been the yin and yang.
Se me ocurri贸 la idea de realizar un corte en la secci贸n izquierda con un rect谩ngulo negro, lo cual servir铆a para contrarrestar el blanco y a帽adir m谩s detalles para la tem谩tica cibern茅tica acrom谩tica. Como siempre se ha observado, el negro y el blanco son una combinaci贸n muy armoniosa, ya que ambos pueden ir de la mano a pesar de ser tan opuestos, tanto en mensaje como visualmente. Un ejemplo claro siempre ha sido el yin y el yang.
Filling may seem like a straightforward task, but it's not entirely so. It requires precise placement and the skill to complement the main subject with similar characteristics. They shouldn't just be fillers; they should accompany the main element with related features. Beyond design, my goal is to communicate visually. And what is the message?
The message I aim to convey revolves around the good and the bad that can arise from the use of technology. What are its purposes? Could it be considered a threat? Will it help us improve as a society? Is it here to enhance humanity or displace us if it goes out of control? These are the questions I want to pose and that arise when writing this post.
El relleno puede parecer una tarea sencilla, pero no lo es del todo. Requiere una ubicaci贸n precisa y la habilidad de complementar al objeto principal con caracter铆sticas similares. No deben ser simplemente un relleno, sino que deben acompa帽ar al elemento principal con caracter铆sticas afines. M谩s all谩 del dise帽o, mi objetivo es comunicar visualmente. Y, 驴cu谩l es el mensaje?
El mensaje que busco transmitir gira en torno a lo bueno y lo malo que puede surgir a ra铆z del uso de la tecnolog铆a. 驴Cu谩les son sus prop贸sitos? 驴Podr铆a considerarnos una amenaza? 驴Nos ayudar谩 a mejorar como sociedad? 驴Viene a mejorar al ser humano o a desplazarnos si se sale de control? Estas son las preguntas que quiero plantear y que mesurgen al escribir esta publicaci贸n.
To conclude, after experimenting with various styles, fonts, and designs to complement the poster, I was able to finish it and add textures to give it more detail.
