In this post, I bring you a design that took approximately 4 hours to complete, and I must say that I absolutely loved this month's theme. This time, I immersed myself in the exciting design process, and I was pleasantly surprised by how rewarding it was

En esta entrada, les traigo un dise帽o que tom贸 aproximadamente 4horas en completarse, y debo decir que me encant贸 la propuesta de este mes.En esta ocasi贸n, me sumerg铆 en el emocionante proceso de dise帽o y me sorprendi贸 lo gratificante que fue.
CONCEPT / CONCEPTO
The concept of my design stems from an appreciation for life, drawing inspiration from nature's lesson that death is inevitable, and we exist in an eternal cycle where we find the beauty of transformation. As evident in the poster, there is a message of forgiveness for what we have caused.
If we shift our focus to reality, we can observe that some well-known species, such as giraffes, are currently facing extinction. However, to stay on track, I have included more species in the design. A rose symbolizes the beauty of plants but can also harm us with its thorns. White doves are present, creating harmony against the backdrop of the sky and a light above, reflecting one's belief in a "Creator."
The skull and the rose create the eternal cycle of beauty and the darker aspects, representing death. The bandana worn symbolizes how we often evade taking responsibility for our actions and instead prefer to blame others for the damage we cause to our environment. We make a mess and then cover our faces, claiming it wasn't us.
El concepto de mi dise帽o se inspira en la apreciaci贸n de la vida, tomando como ense帽anza la lecci贸n que nos brinda la naturaleza: la inevitabilidad de la muerte y la belleza de la transformaci贸n en un ciclo eterno. Este concepto se refleja en el p贸ster, acompa帽ado por un mensaje de perd贸n hacia lo que le causamos a nuestro entorno.
Si observamos la realidad, notaremos que algunas especies muy conocidas, como las jirafas, se encuentran actualmente en peligro de extinci贸n. Sin embargo, para no desviarnos de este tema, he incluido otras especies en el dise帽o. Una rosa que simboliza la belleza de las plantas, pero tambi茅n puede da帽arnos con sus espinas. Tambi茅n veremos palomas blancas que crean armon铆a junto al cielo de fondo, con una luz por encima, que se relaciona con las creencias sobre un "Creador".
La calavera y la rosa representan el eterno ciclo de lo hermoso y lo malo, que est谩 intr铆nseco en la idea de la muerte. La bandana que lleva puesta simboliza c贸mo a menudo evitamos hacernos responsables de nuestras acciones y preferimos culpar a otros por los da帽os que causamos a la naturaleza. Es como si cometieramos el destrozo y, en lugar de reconocerlo, nos cubrimos la cara, diciendo que no fuimos nosotros.
PROCESS / PROCESO
I used this model as a reference and proceeded to remove the background from a side-view skull. Afterward, I placed it above the subject, removing the background and separating the body parts to work with the design later.
Tom茅 como referencia este modelo y proced铆 a eliminar el fondo de una calavera que se encontraba de perfil. Luego, la coloqu茅 por encima del sujeto, eliminando el fondo y separando las partes de los cuerpos para jugar con el dise帽o m谩s adelante.
Here, there is a crucial point in the design: I placed the roses behind, on one side, and wrote "NATURE" above the skull, emphasizing the theme of the month, as seen in the second image. I let the body intertwine with the roots of the roses. Up to this point, I was loving the design, but then a color test arose...
Aqu铆 se encuentra un punto fundamental en el dise帽o: coloqu茅 las rosas detr谩s, en un lado, y sobre el cr谩neo escrib铆 "NATURE", haciendo hincapi茅 en el concepto del mes, como se puede apreciar en la segunda imagen. Dej茅 el cuerpo entrelazado con las ra铆ces de las rosas. Hasta este punto, me encantaba el dise帽o, pero luego surgi贸 una prueba de color...
By chance, in my existing gradient palette, the initial ranges included blues and light blues, creating the perfect combination to design a sky. At that point, I decided to proceed by removing part of the torso, and I resumed working on the final design with determination.
Por casualidad, en mi paleta de degradados preexistentes, las primeras gamas eran azules y celestes, lo que creo la combinaci贸n perfecta para dise帽ar un cielo. En ese momento, decid铆 proceder eliminando parte del torso y retom茅 con determinaci贸n el dise帽o final.
To begin, I used cloud-shaped brushes instead of searching for them on the internet. Then, I started the correction of shadows and highlights to prevent glare on the screen. As you can see, the light is coming from above, so I had to work with the lighting from that perspective.
Para comenzar, utilic茅 pinceles con forma de nube en lugar de buscarlas en internet. Luego, inici茅 la correcci贸n de sombras y luces para evitar el resplandor en la pantalla. Como se puede observar, la luz proviene de arriba, por lo que tuve que jugar con las luces desde ese punto.
For the stem of the rose, I started by using the pen tool to cut out the edge of the rose, allowing me to achieve the effect of the stem passing through the skull.
Para la parte del tallo de la rosa, comenc茅 utilizando la herramienta pluma para recortar el borde de la rosa, de esta manera pude lograr el efecto de que el tallo atravesara el cr谩neo.
Taking advantage of the tablet's stylus, I hand-drew my own lettering style and decided to place it in the background in a graffiti-style. To create a connection with the sky design, I chose to add white doves with a motion effect to make it appear as though they were flying.
Aprovechando el l谩piz de la tablet, escrib铆 a mano alzada mi estilo de letra y decid铆 colocarla detr谩s en un estilo de graffiti. Para establecer una relaci贸n con el dise帽o del cielo, opt茅 por agregar las palomas blancas con un efecto de movimiento, de manera que parecieran estar volando.
DETAILS / DETALLES
To work with expertise, I added shadows to the letters since they are above the doves. I also erased a significant portion of the letters to achieve the effect of the doves passing through them.
Para trabajar con mayor destreza, a帽ad铆 sombras a las letras, ya que se encuentran por encima de las palomas. Tambi茅n borr茅 una parte significativa de las letras para lograr el efecto de que las palomas las atraviesen.
For the phrases, I chose to use a variety of fonts to make the word "NATURE" stand out and be easily readable. I also accompanied them with preselected icons that fit the design.
Para las frases, opt茅 por utilizar una variedad de fuentes para que la palabra "NATURE" quedara destacada y se pudiera leer con facilidad. Tambi茅n las acompa帽茅 de iconos preseleccionados que se ajustaban al dise帽o.
To conclude the design and consider it finished, I used AI to generate the animals, which proved to be quite straightforward. Then, I applied a Gaussian blur effect to give the appearance of animals in the sky and on the ground. This brought me to the final design, accompanied by a "photocopy" texture. Although the process was lengthy, I was very pleased with the final result. I hope you liked it. We'll see you in another post.
Para finalizar el dise帽o y darlo por terminado, gener茅 a los animales utilizando la inteligencia artificial, lo cual result贸 ser bastante sencillo. Luego, apliqu茅 un efecto gaussiano para dar la apariencia de animales en el cielo y en la tierra. As铆 llegu茅 al producto final, acompa帽ado de una textura de "fotocopia".
