Their first night in Kara seemed so long because they couldn't sleep with both eyes closed in the room. When it was finally morning, Rita had to talk to Susan so that the both of them could apologize to Bob for the way they spoke to him. Susan was reluctant but she eventually agreed.
They stepped out of the room and and saw Bob spreading some clothes on the line. Suleiman was also sitted on a stool washing some clothes
Susan: Good morning Bob
Bob: (with a straight face) good morning Susan
Rita: Bob we're sorry for the way we spoke to you yesterday.
Bob: oh, that? It's nothing. How was your night
Susan: it was fine, how was yours?
Bob: it was fine as well. That reminds me, I'll like to take you guys to the ASEC office today so I'll introduce you to your team mates in preparation for your work that'll be starting on Monday.
Rita: what time please? So that we can start preparing.
Bob: whenever you're ready, just let me know. I'll be ready whenever you are.
Rita: ok
Both girls started preparing. They had to fetch the water they'll use to bath from a well not too far from the house. The bathroom was close to the well as well. The wall of the bathroom was covered with spirogyra. Rita was the first to bath. She was so irritated but she didn't want to cause any drama again so she and Susan just had to manage it. After bathing and dressing up, they notified Bob so that they'll get going and also get some breakfast on their way.
The ASEC office in Kara was situated in the University of Kara. It wasn't too far from Bob's house. Bob introduced them to other ASEC members like : Frank, Tino, Charles etc. They also got to meet a korean lady who was studying English but made a mistake of choosing Togo because she thought Togo is an anglophone country. Her real name was very difficult to pronounce so she told everyone to call her Rose.
Rose got talking with Rita and Susan as soon as she realised they were anglophones. She told them she also came into Kara yesterday.
Susan: oh, really?
Rose: yes
Susan: so how do you see your apartment
Rose: it's nice and comfortable. I have my bathroom and kitchen inside the apartment so I don't have to go out to do anything.
Both girls looked at each other in surprise but didn't allow Rose have any clue. Rita was already getting angry because she thought they were cheated by ASEC.
Susan: can we visit you one of these days?
Rose: yes, sure. We can even go over to my place as soon as we're done here.
Susan: Rita what do you think about that.
Rita: sounds good, since we're not going to be doing anything at home.
As soon as they were done at the ASEC office, they walked out to the road to get a bike going to Rose's house
