Have you ever woken up one day and thanked God for not making you an ant? Or have you ever wondered "what if I was an ant, what would my life be like?". Most times, when I look at ants, so many things comes to my head; like, how do they eat and digest their food?(especially those very tiny ones that most people refer to as sugar ants), do they have father and mother like us? I basically just look at them and wonder how great God is.

This write up is actually inspired by boredom and steemit. I woke up this morning feeling very tired to get up from my bed. The weather was so cold and I was still enjoying the warmth I was feeling all wrapped up in my duvet. Then I saw these sugar ants just roaming on the floor in my room; I thought to myself, what is attracting these ants and where exactly are they coming from? I tried some little bullying and messing  around with one of the ant to entertain myself with its reactions. I tried touching it, it stopped moving and pretended to be dead for about 30 seconds; then when it probably thought I wasn't looking again, it started moving. Now, this got me asking myself "do ants actually reason".

That over, I went into thoughts again on why they are such hardworking creatures. You see them carrying little crumbs of food to their holes. They save during the dry season against the rainy season, could it be their power of reasoning at work again?. Humans are hardworking,  but how many of us have learnt or developed the culture of saving that little from the much we earn? I presume the answer is mind bugging.

According to research, ants have the highest population on earth. They are also considered to be social, coordinated, hardworking and dedicated insects and that is one of the reason why the Bible advices us to learn from them. Due to all their qualities listed above, they tend to achieve more. It is clearly proven that even a broom would achieve more when bound together than if functioning in single forms.

There is a whole lot we can emulate from ants ranging from their social life, hardworking spirit, coordination and so on. They are so tiny but very powerful. As big as an elephant is, if just one ant enters into its trunk, that elephant would not be alright till the ant comes out. The size of an individual doesn't play any role in how much he or she can achieve.
