First off excuse the ramble, operating on minimum sleep and several alcoholic beverages. Well maybe not beverages lets just call them White Russians for now. Okay! Okay! it started with Mud slides and after that I started on white russians and then that turned into black russians (ran out milk and started using chocolate milk)
So last night I spent a little to much time on Steemit. Sometimes I have a hard time falling a sleep and end up only getting a few winks. I ended up here on steemit most of the night. I did a lot of upvoting which from what I understand (I am new at this) is a bad thing. If and this is questionable, I understand how this works. The more I upvote the less that the upvotes are worth. At my current steem power, from what I understand after it falls below about 98% is worth nothing. Nada!
Again, just another guess on my part but I think I have to wait 2 hours between upvotes for them to be worth anything. That is assuming that I start off with 100%. At the moment I am at 56% voting power. So in roughly about 48 hours from now I should be back up to 100%.
I had thought I had been trying to be selective with my upvotes.
(Side note: I am on my last black russian)
But looking back I guess I shouldn't have been upvoting people who replied to my post and comments. Here I thought I was being kind and handing out votes but instead was giving away nothing.
