This is my entry for @alequandro's MyLandScape contest. The theme for this contest is sunset.
I also thought I would show you guys something else I have been playing around with. Animating still images is something I just started tinkering with, I know its kind of gimmicky but can still be pretty cool. I have tried a few different programs to do this, the first being plotoverse's plotograph. I find it is expensive for what this is, but it seems to have the most features. The animation below was created with Zoetropic app on android. Both offer a free version but they put their logo on the export. Zoetropic is a lot less expensive.
This animation was just a quick edit and I think if I would have spent a little more time on it I could have gotten some the distortions out of the animation.
Below is a screen shot of the Zoetropic app. The arrows create the motion. Both the anchor points (red dots) and the red mask are used to stop areas from moving.
