In these past two months. So many things have happened. I will write about a couple of them based on the pictures. Those I didn’t take pictures of, I really can’t remember
In July, we attended the NUGS congress. Traveling has been really stressful for me this whole year. In fact, everything about this year has been stressful. We spent over 22 hours on the road. When we finally arrived at cape coast on the dawn of the next day, we were stranded with our accommodation arrangements. Everything eventually got sorted out but I couldn’t bring myself to lie down and sleep. The girls went ahead to sleep and I stayed up with the guys till day break
I couldn’t even smile😂😂
From the list of activities, we were to have a meeting in the morning but we were so tired , getting everyone ready and on time was a problem.

I think we eventually made it but we had missed the first meeting and went straight into a seminar. This seminar was quite informative for me and I was actually glad I was there.
When we got back from the seminar, we made our way to the beach which was about 5 minutes walk from the apartment we stayed.
There was a few people amongst us who were seeing the sea for the first time so it was really fun for them. I just wanted to go there to find some time by myself and put my thoughts together.
The day we left for the trip, my mom called to inform me about the death of a very important person in my life so my head was a whole mess. July has too many scars for me.
After a while, everyone got tired and we made our way back.
The next day was our visit to the Kakum National Park. The main highlight of this whole stressful journey.

We eventually left in the rain for the main reason we came. I was part of the first batch of my colleagues to go and it went by so fast. When I was done, I wished I had taken my time to experience the whole thing.
The next day was the election. As usual , we were late. We spent some time getting drinks and taking pictures.
We eventually made it to the voting grounds, spent a lot of time just roaming aimlessly, finally got to vote later in the day, made it back to the apartment and left back to school dawn of the next day.

This Congress was all nice pictures but I got to understand that pictures do not really tell the story. It’s just a cover up for the many challenges we face in life
