The only time we get bigger is when we come together. Lay all differences aside and collaborate. Share ideas. Work together. Build as one.
It's true we look completely cute and okay on our own. We beautify anywhere we land. We have a special type of feeling we evoke in people around us. There's probably always some sort of celebration every time we are around. We are kings in our own rights. We are pretty snowflakes.
With time however, the feelings fade away and we are soon forgotten. We come and go so quick it's hard to believe. The people we once made happy no longer see a need for us. We can't be noticed.
The moment we begin to roll together, however, we gain back our recognition. Our efforts become clear to the world to see. The snowflakes put aside their individuality to achieve a common goal. The more the snowflakes that come together, the bigger the snowball they become.
Snowballs cracks up that excitement around once more. There's a new use for the once worthless snowflakes. They came together and became useful again. They can break things now.
So coming together to become a snowball is this awesome? Let's make our own snowball.
Then there are new snowballs everywhere and the competition begins for the best snowball. The lesson of coming together is soon forgotten. If only they had enough reason, they just might have good foresight.
If only these snowballs knew that by coming together, they could become almost equal with man.
If only these balls knew that by coming together, they could scale new heights.
If only someone could tell... Oh someone already did! The snowballs are trying to come together but they're only forming a bigger snowball.
Where is the promise of becoming almost man? We surely have been tricked. It's totally impossible and we should have known.
Hmm... if only these snowballs knew that there are different rules for different stages. Same overall ideas but different rules.
When snowballs come together, it's not enough to just roll together.
Some snowballs need to offer to serve as the base on which others will stand.
Not everyone will get to be on top. Not every snowball will get to house the eyes and nose.
As a snowball, you might have to be working hard at the base to hold the entire structure in place, or be someplace else contributing to the continued standing of the snowman.
Whatever your role, play it to the best of your abilities and together, we'll all attract the best eyes to what we're doing.
