I spend a lot if time in the Philippines and was in Makati a few months ago. I always stay at the New World Hotel and always have dinner in the Green Belt, great food choices there.

One of the places I would bug out to is Splendido Taal Country Club. I stayed there once for two months. That is if the ash is cleared up... And go to Breakfast at Antonio's every day until it gets better... or ends.
