Yes , with enough accounts filled with HP and a lazy witness voting behavior from the Steemit user base , Mister Sun was able , true many voting circles on his own accounts , to take over Steemit . It theoretically could again happen to Hive , so it is important for Hive users to learn and know about the witnesses . Use your votes .

I just want Hive to stay a place for freedom of speech . Witch at times already it has a hard time to be due to downvoting systems . Yeah... some welcome , sorry i am just honest . On this platform the fight ain't over .
