i stopped my car at a few inch from the sidewalk , pulled the handbrake and turned the key to stop the engine , looked at myself in the back-view mirror before my hand grabbed the shiny door-handle of my cool looking red automobile . Opened the door and stood up from the driver seat to place myself on the sidewalk . Stretched my back , straitened my clothes and started walking along this neatly paved sidewalk . Not far to go before i would reach my destination .

Example 2
I parked my car , got out , and walked towards my point of interest .

If there is nothing that relates to thing's going on further on in the story , it's just filling , stuffing's for the pages . Or giving some insight on your midwit narcissistic personality . Don't look in the mirror when you write your stuff , it will reflect back in the words you are gonna put down in a bad way .
