This old picture is me and my co driver pulled of after 1 hour and 55 min in a 2 hour endurance race on a small of road track . About 50 cars ,semi pro and recreational drivers . I got the seat cause someone got sick .
To win one had to have the most rounds but it was driven like last man standing . A popped radiator hose made the head come loose from the engine after 20 min , a wrench and a nearby ditch for water solved those problems . Finally the front of the car became wide enough to pop a axle . At the race start it was a decent looking stripped car , only a cache for driver protection , 1.4 engine and just stock specs .
I can tell you from experience that cars are not build to last ;-)
