How are we all finding the 'rebalance' of Bees/Sloths rates and costs?

Players should now be thinking about whether to grab some sloths for the next round to give themselves a bit of an advantage or keep pushing hard for this week's leaderboard and miss out on Sloths. Is it the right way for the game to work, or should sloths be more accessible whilst still getting a good place on the leaderboard?
