It's funny how these things work :) This is the main reason we're doing 'live testing'. We wanted real players having real experiences to build on. Hopefully it makes for a better game longer term!

No, the leaves are in-game currency, not a real token. It's maybe something we could look into, though; the sponsor receives the 2.5% when players purchase their sloths in the first place.

We're also looking to add more bonuses for 'late starters' to try help them catch up, I don't like people joining late and just 'losing '; we want them to at least have a slothly chance of participating

Yeah, but 1 Hive is worth the experience of learning the game :D They may also have managed to flip a booster, or grab a slice of one of the pots too! Maybe even a sloth or two for advantage in this round!

I think it is paying the sponsor actually, sponsor payment 30 would have matched the last booster purchase.

That's a pretty fair analysis! We had around 26 buys of the booster last round, giving a bonus 26 Hive to the pools. So it may not be for everyone, but some are enjoying it. Maybe we could extend the timer

Forky bought it hoping to 'sponsor' the round. Some people are buying, hoping for the 'quick flip '; others are hoping to receive the 2.5% payout from every tx. Some, just want to sponsor the game and

Silly dev, half correct :D It should not reset going forward, but if it's not killed in a round it losses two levels... Currently, the weekly reset is causing it to die too quickly in new rounds, draining
