Hello Steemians,

My name is Jared and I am new here on steemit. I have been lurking around on here for a couple of days now trying to get a feel for how things work on here and now I think I am ready to make my official introduction.

My name on here says a lot about me already @sleepycryptodad. I love sleeping it is one of my favorite hobbies… but I wouldn’t call myself lazy, I also am a father to a beautiful almost 2 year old daughter with another little girl due this summer and they are the best thing to ever happen to me. Oh yeah and my most recent fascination is Crypto of course so then there is that as well.

I am from the United States and have a back ground in construction and technical work in radio frequency and basic electronics. I love anything technical, I am constantly trying to learn as much as possible all the time. I was considered a nerd in school and have successfully carried that reputation over to work with me. My boss often ask me if there is anything I’m not trying to learn and jokes that I’m one of the nerdiest guys he knows.

Although I just actually started buying crypto this year I have been aware of Bitcoin since about 2011 (still kicking myself for not buying then) and just happened to decide to start looking into it again around late April early May of this year. I have been trying to increase my knowledge of all things crypto from new projects to old projects and all the ones in between. I want to know as much as possible about the coins/tokens I buy so I can support healthy projects and not get scammed. My overall goal is to be more knowledgeable and to help spread what I learn to others.

I want to leave a positive mark on the community of crypto so I plan to only post things that are beneficial to anyone involved in this space and to not shill referral links or spam post the feed. I want to build a following that knows that I will only post quality post whether I have 2 or 2000 followers. So help me out, throw me an up vote and a follow if you feel like it and let’s see where this journey takes us.

Also a big thanks to @welcoming for providing great outlines for new people on how to make a proper introduction. Hope I made you proud.
