You are now traveling through parts of Canada that I have actually been to. I live in Minnesota and I have been to Thunder Bay. I don't know if you have ever been to Duluth, but I think when you come to Duluth traveling north on Interstate 35 and crest the hill the view of the Duluth Harbor is one of the most beautiful sites you will ever see!
