The ship built in China's technology was temporarily named 'Type-001A'. China's state news agency said, "The journey to the city of Dalian from the north-eastern province of Lanning has begun."
The first ships of the Soviet period brought them from Ukraine. China named their first aircraft carrier 'Type-001' in the sea in 2012.
According to state media, "The ship, which weighs about 50 tons, will be its second aircraft carrier that will be added to some navy in 2020".
