Fair point on the images, so I went to fix it on this post straight away. I uploaded three of the documents I cite and swapped the text links for them, but the edit won't broadcast. Ecency errors out every time I save, so I'm still fighting with it.

Some context on the rest. This isn't a daily repost feed, it's my fourth post since September. And what goes on chain isn't a copy of the blog: it's a shorter version I write separately, with its own edit and its own selection of sources. The footer says "originally published at" because I'd rather declare the origin than hide it.

The reason there were no pictures in the first place is duller than low effort: my server has no valid SSL cert, so anything hosted there renders broken through Hive's image proxy. Hosting the images on Hive itself fixes that, which is exactly what I was trying to do.
