Another one dj Khaled voice !
This jammy jam was quite challenging and took many revisions and man hours to figure out an acapella/Malaysian/empowered voice vibe for world voice day. All parts were first composed using a midi keyboard by yours truly then the real humans were layered on top with a beatboxer. I am very pleased with how it turned out.
The original inspiration was Paul Simon’s “late in the evening” from there things just coalesced.. Despite having had heard this hundreds of times in some capacity I still find it a bit infectious (in a good way), fun, and free... Melding east-west and all in between at Starrsounds studios Klang. Holla !
