So finally...


And hopefully not too late, I am finally joining beekart@beekart 's Art School in Week 2 with some completed homework! Thank you for hosting this, I think this is a wonderful initiative, and I hope to learn a lot from it!

Homework exercise 1: Blind Contours

These contours are really fun to do, and I've always loved Posemaniacs as a referencing tool. Apart from giving me some better perspective on negative space, it also helps to sharpen up my drawing skills (especially on drawing tablet).

Homework exercise 2: Simplification!


These were lots of fun and hellishly tough at the same time, although they were quite satisfying to complete, and really made me look at the shapes that form on a face. My first one (the female) did however end up looking like she will eat your soul... scary stuff. 0.0

All-in-all this was an awesome experience and I urge anyone that reads this to join the Art School, it's free and you can really learn some valuable stuff here!
