Just outside of Chang Mai in Thailand, my family and I visited an elephant sanctuary. They rescue elephants and nurture them back to health. We were able to learn about how they have both thrived and exploited throughout Thailand over the past few decades.
Part of the program included feeding and cleaning the elephants.
Learning about the health of the elephant starts with their dung. Here we are looking at the dung to see how healthy their diet has been.

After a long hot day in the sun with the elephants we were able to go back our our hotel for a little relaxation.
