Hard to say, I just started playing this week. Glad I found it and started because it led to me also learning about hive; which I'm liking more and more in all aspects! But as I see it, splinterlands is a win-win regardless. I used to dump endless money into in-game purchases on itunes and get nothing I own in return. With Splinterlands I get to have fun and own the stuff I'm spending on. The opportunity to recover some/all or even possibility to make money is all just one big bonus!
