Ever been interested in mining some Siacoin?
Look, this tutorial isn't going to teach you to become a millionaire in a week, but it will pay off your electricity bill and maybe make you some small profit if you have a good set-up. You could also try renting out a server as some of them can mine more than they cost!
Firstly, download your Siacoin wallet if you haven't already, or obtain a wallet some other way!
Then you're going to need to configure your wallet and wait a period of time for it to connect to Blockchain.
Then head on over to https://siamine.com/marlin and download Merlin!
Merlin is really flexible and can run on virtually any machine (excuse the pun).

You can then edit the batch file on Merlin and change the settings.
Set your address to your Siacoin address, obviously.
Then, set a random worker to identify the machine (mostly for statistics).
After this, set the intensity to whatever your machine can handle (Recommended: 20).
Now, keep it running! Make sure to set it so that your computer doesn't turn off after inactivity!
