What to Expect from the Daily Pack Articles
Each of these Daily Pack Openings is about 450 words in the template for explaining what Astral Entities is and where to find more information on it. I will discuss every single card I pulled in today's pack in detail making my best, uninformed guesses at how the card will be in the Astral Entities Universe. If you are new to the universe, read below to find out more. If you're already familiar with Astral Entities, scroll on down to What I pulled today for the 500-800 word discussion on today's pack. What is Astral Entities?
Astral Entities is a universe of games in development by Hella Rad Games 
There are three games currently in development:
Taergyn
Taergyn is like playing Go with D&D inspired Fantasy characters with an array of stats, classes, and an epic depth of lore. This is the flagship game of the series and is expected to launch Q1 2022.
Discordant Adventures

The Hunter's Guild
The Hunter's Guild will be a Gamified staking game with an emphasis on the Gamified. On timed adventures, you will be forced to make a number of hard decisions that could take twists and turns in this choose your own adventure.
Many, Many more games planned for release down the line with options being developed for developers to create their own unofficial or official games.

What I pulled Today
I couldn't help myself today, and the daily pack turned into two packs! For the first time ever, I pulled 10 T1's in a single pack. I didn't even realize that was possible! Walter, a real live wire and awesome guy on the Astral Entities Discord Server, calculated that I had a 1.8228378% chance of pulling that pack, or a little under 1 in 50. Then in my second pack, I pulled a T5, and a very good looking one, and SIX, SIX, T2's. What polar opposite packs; I love watching RNG do its work sometimes! Looking at this T5, I am in awe. He looks so good. While his perseverance is the lowest stat I've seen on any card yet, his Agility and Awareness are through the roof. I am trying to be cautiously excited excited about this card, but I can't help being irrationally excited instead. Today's tale of two packs is pretty funny, and I am so glad I rolled that second pack.
Today also marks a milestone of over 500 Astral Entities in my wax account now!!! Wow, I can barely believe it. I wonder if I can get 1K before the game releases.
Human Sage
The T1 Human Sage is a pretty versatile character with the traits Versatile and Studious and a very even spread of stats. His best stats are perseverance and sprint at 13, and the rest are 12 and 11 except for his weakest trait awareness. It's hard to say if the specialized characters with one high stat will be better, or the generalists like this Human Sage will be better. It is interesting that the all the Human classes tend to be more generalist characters. My working theory is that some games in the AE universe will heavily prioritize traditionally Min/Maxed characters like Mages with High Intelligence and Wisdom (which might be what wit is in this game. Not sure), other games will prioritize strangely min/maxed stats (looking at you shooty booms), and that other games will reward more generalist strategies (perhaps Disocrdant Adventures). I'm very excited to find out and reevaluate all these cards with a little bit less reckless abandon and certain error.
Shadowborne Grunt
The T1 Warrior, Shadowborne Grunt, is Stealthy and Tough with his best stats in Perseverance, Ego, and Initiation. This warrior is fairly curious to me, and while he seems a bit of a generalist, he seems to be focused on Mental and Sensory surviability. Perhaps his role is to partially tank magic while also dealing some decent damage. It's really hard to say, but I'm excited to see what roles the Shadowborne Warrior classes will play, if they see play. Which I hope they do. Something is just kind of cool about it.
Human Shaman
Human Shaman is a Versatile and Studious T2 Mage with a pretty even spread of stats, but with a satisfying 13 Intelligence, Perseverance, and Sprint. His worst stat, as it seems with almost all humans, is awareness. I'm not the most excited about Human Mages, but I'm keeping an open mind excited and willing to be surprised. I really have no idea what to expect, and I feel like I'm looking at these cards with all the wild eyed wonder of seeing a planet in a telescope for the first time. They're so Alien and Beautiful, yet somehow unreal.
Dwarf Brute
The Sturdy and Tough Dwarf Brute is a T2 Warrior with a heavily Physical spread of stats, which may be surprising to anyone unfamiliar with Dwarves or Warriors. 14 Vitality, 13 Might and Endurance paints the picture of a pretty fearsome warrior. Intelligence and Speed are his weakest stats, but that may be a decent trade off for his overwhelmingly physical stats. I would say he's a pretty specialized warrior that might need some sort of back up for Mental and Sensory checks/defenses/damage.
Human Bandit
The T2 Thief, Human Bandit, is Versatile and Quick-Fingered. Almost half his stats are 12, and he has a pretty even spread through Physical, Mental, and Sensory stats. I would say his versatile trait checks out. His best stats are Agility and Sprint, which is great for shimming on the side of buildings and running from Batman. Impossible to grade the card with any accuracy till the game is out, but I could see myself passing on this Race/Class combination in favor of other humans or a specialized thief class with Shadowborne or Elf.
Elf Wanderer
I think the joke I made when I first pulled one of these is that not all who wander are lost, and I think that very much still applies. It's no secret I'm a fan of this Race/Class combination, which is why I'm ecstatic I pulled the T5 version: Bowmaster. It'll be fun comparing these two cards as the T1 of the line vs. the T2 of the line. With 14 Awareness and 14 Agility, it's safe to say that Elf Hunters are very specialized scouts, and the Bowmaster gets an astounding 19 Agility. Whaaaaaaaaaaat. His perseverance is his weakest trait, and it gets even weaker in the T5, but at the benefit of a lot more stats that seem awesome for a hunter. The Fleet and Agile Elf Wanderer certainly lives up to his traits!
Shadowborne Brute
This is the T2 version of the Shadowborne Grunt we looked at earlier. With 13 Might, 13 Perseverance, 13 Ego, and 13 Initiative, I can certainly say I'm intrigued. I'm really going to be watching Shadowborne Warriors to get a good feel for what it is that they're doing because I'm not quite sure right now.
Elf Shaman
The Elf Shaman is a T2 mage with the traits Fleet and Studious. With 14 Intelligence, 13 Agility, and 13 Initiative, I find this card to be pretty interesting. I can see him popping off a lot of high damage spells or dodging traps Indiana Jones style and solving rune puzzles. Will be pretty interesting to see this class in the Hunter's Guild imo. Could be good for some checks I would expect from the Oregon Trailesque/ D&D Campaign-esque gamified staking game.
Bowmaster
This is the main event right here. This is my fifth T5, and probably the one I'm most excited about. With 19 Agility, this NFT is more Agile than I thought possbile. This is an insanely high stat even for a T5, and he has 6 perseverance to owe it to. That's probably a trade off that will be worth it. He also has 15 Dexterity and 14 Speed and Might with a WHOPPING 17 Awareness. This is a beautifully specialized card that I'm very excited about. I'm over the moon on this pull. In my completely uninformed opinion, this is the best card I've pulled yet.
