I looked up for the most part for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
This time we took the baby on a running path that was smooth enough for the stroller. The rain is making everything look nice and green right now. Still no morels are growing yet though.
The tulips are nice and bright opening up. Bright reds look nice against the green grass.
I started getting bored of taking flower pictures so I looked up in the trees for something interesting. Here we have an uncooperative cardinal showing his butt but not turning around. By the time I moved to get a better shot he flew away.
Here is the start of an oriole nest. It looks like they used some blue plastic to tie the nest to the branches. Hopefully I can see some babies emerge from this thing.
I heard a squeek toy sound and noticed a red bellied woodpecker next to his home. Perhaps there are already eggs laid inside the tree hollow.
I saw a huge shadow on the ground and looked up and caught this great blue heron in flight.
Fortunately no trees got in the way and I was able to get a few ok shots.
Off it goes in the direction of the lake for an evening meal.
A strange buzzing noise was overhead and I spotted this drone spying on me. Normally I wouldn't bother taking a photo of such a mundane thing, but the moon was in the background so I snapped a shot.
Later I saw a plane flying close to the moon and snapped another shot. If only I could have gotten the heron in flight next to the moon lol. Morel of the story look up if flowers start getting a bit boring.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
