Lucky you actually saw a porcupine. I've never seen one in the wild before. I saw a woodfrog like yours at snake road last time I went. I also saw a red version of that same frog up in Wisconsin on a mushroom hunt. Never could quite get an id on it or maybe they just change colors in different regions.
