Closing yet another year on Steemit.

I have to thank you all. I have to thank my friends, everyone that stayed for so long with us here on steemit supporting each other no matter what. We have been in a hell of a ride all together. We are still are, and we will remain. Wave after wave of people that came and are yet to come. People that evolved this ecosystem from a small global village to a small global country. The devs and all the whales, the dolphins and all the small fishes lurking around wishing for a bite from the reward pool, and those mindless bots doing their thing...

The steemit game was never stronger. With apps like Dtube, Steepshot and more there isn't much steem can't do, I think when smart tokens will be introduced will be a game changer for the communities taking shape. And we will probably figure a way to use steemfest tokens at our next steemfest. Who knows what more, probably plenty.

As a steemit enthusiast since 4th July 2016 I still have a lot of expectations out of steemit. It still is the biggest percantage of my investment even though I had to power down some times throughout the year. But never sold out, if possible and the price reasonable though I am always eager to jump back in. But little the difference that does make. Profit and the extra income is nothing in comparison to the community that fuels this project.

Being still in beta and already achieved so much, makes me wonder what future holds for us, early bloggers and early investors. The responsibility to make it grow feels embedded, almost tattooed on our skins. So we get passionate, about it and we dedicate so much effort to spread the word. When people ask me about crypto I welcome them to join steemit as the most important step for that transition, they bring their friends and that goes on. I can see it growing from the inside, steemit Greece for example is growing in a rate that I was not expecting. Just if 10% of everyone that comes can succeed half of what I did that could upgrade their quality of lives. Their value would contribute to steemit as whole as well. That is what keeps me going with steemit. It always did, and I might be a bit romantic but I have faith in the good spirit at every humans soul, and that is what I thing at the end of the day will make steemit the greatest social media in the world. Our future human assets that are forged within steemit.
