Komunikowanie się do pracy rowerem powinno samow sobie być podstawą przyznania medalu w kategorii 'sado-maso' za korzystanie z istniejącej infrastruktury rowerowej. Dziś rano na drodze był znacznie zwiększony ruch, zwykle nie stanowił on większego problemu na tej alternatywnej - dłuższej trasie. W każdym razie, sytuacja wygląda tak, że na niezbyt szerokiej drodze za mną sznur samochodów, na przeciwległym pasie sznur samochodów i pojawiająca się nagle dwukierunkowa ścieżka rowerowa po lewej stronie drogi. Nie umiałem wykonać manewru, bo musiałbym zablokować całą dwukierunkową drogę, rowerem - kurcze. Wybrałem 'mniejsze zlo', nie wykonam niebezpiecznego zakrętu, może za 100-200 metrów uda się wjechać na ścieżkę. Skończyło się tak, że co drugi mijający mnie kierowca krzyczał coś do mnie o ścieżce po lewej stronie drogi...

Commuting by bike should be in itself the basis for receiving decoration in sado-maso category for using the existing bike infrastructure. This morning there was much traffic, it used not to cause excessive problems on my alternative route - the longer one. To make story short, the situation consisted of following: I'm on not-too-wide two way road, behind me there's a queue of cars that can't overtake me because of other queue of cars coming the other way, a bike path appearing on the left side of the road(don't know if you know the thing, but in Poland often bike path simply and suddenly tend to appear at no apparent reason and so they end). I wasn't able to proceed with manoeuvre to get on the bike path without risking being run over or stopping the whole two way lane with bike. I chosed the lesser evil, meaning not to perform the dangerous turning and hoping the chance to hop on the bike lane in 100-200 meters or so. Though, it turned out that half of the passing drivers were shouting at me about the bike path on the left side of the road...
